Kale kills Cancer

Well Louie is eating Kale nowadays to try and kill the cancer cells that are floating around in his body. Kale is known to kill cancer per Louie's doctor.

Here are some interestig articles on the subject:

http://www.thewellnesswarrior.com.au/2010/12/crazy-about-kale/

she says: It helps to detoxify your liver: Kale contains the nutrients glucosinolates and methyl cysteine sulfoxides which help to activate detoxifying enzymes in the liver that play an important role in neutralising carcinogenic substances. One such glucosinolate, sulforaphane, is formed when kale is either chopped or chewed. Sulforaphane has been shown to alter the genetic expression of the liver allowing to more effectively use its detoxification enzymes.
It kills cancer cells: When kale is chopped or chewed, an enzyme called myrosinase interacts with glucosinolates to release isothiocyanates. Why should we care about these weird, hard-to-pronounce words? Isothiocyanates have been shown to inhibit carcinogenesis and to cause cancer cell apoptosis (aka open a can of whoop ass on them).
